Biotech One in one minute

Fragile molecules need protection. We have made it industrial

Vitamins, mRNA, peptides, plant extracts: many of the most valuable active ingredients degrade before they can act. Encapsulating them in nanoparticles protects them. The hard part was doing it reliably, at scale, with no clogging by design and no toxic solvents.

  1. 01 · The problem

    Actives degrade

Heat, light, oxygen and the body itself break down sensitive molecules. Today's encapsulation methods clog, use organic solvents and must be redeveloped at every scale.

  2. 02 · Our answer

    EncapX®, a continuous system

Our patented system encapsulates the active ingredient in liposomes or lipid nanoparticles, continuously, using supercritical CO₂ instead of toxic solvents.

  3. 03 · The result

    From lab to production

Stable, uniform nanoparticles, and the same process from the first test batch to industrial manufacturing. Industrial groups and research labs already work with us.

How it works

Supercritical CO₂ does the hard work

Above 31 °C and 74 bar, CO₂ has the density of a liquid and the diffusivity of a gas. It is non-toxic and leaves no residue. EncapX® turns it into a precise formulation tool.

  1. 01 · Feed

    Feed

Lipids, your active ingredient and an aqueous phase enter the system with supercritical CO₂.

  2. 02 · Form

    Form

In pressure-controlled millifluidic channels, vesicles self-assemble around the active ingredient, continuously, at 35 °C.

  3. 03 · Collect

    Collect

CO₂ returns to a gas and leaves no residue. Uniform nanoliposomes or LNPs come out ready for formulation.
